Hi, thanks for your reply. I tested using 2 as Creation Indicator for Purchase Requisitions, but when if run the MRP for the material the system creates a purchase requisition. The requirement date is 12.07.2011. We want the system to create the PR in this date.
The material used in the test has the following MRP data:
Reorder point: 1000
Maximum stock level 3000
MRP type: VB (Manual reorder point planning)
Lot size: HB Replenish to maximum stock level
Planned delivery time 20 days.
In the network activity the earliest start date is 12.07.2011. We requested for 400 CAN (Item category L) In the reservation the requirement date is 12.07.2011
I used transaction MD03 with this parameters:
Processing key: NETCH Net Change in Total Horizon
Create purchase req: 2 Purchase requisitions in opening period
Delivery schedules 1 No schedule lines
Create MRP list 1 MRP list
Planning mode 3 Delete and recreate planning data
Schedulling 1 Determination of Basic Dates for Planned
Planning result:
12.01.2011 stock 0
01.02.2011 Purchase req Req qty: 3000
12.07.2011 Order reserv. 400-
The requirement date is 12.07.2011. We want the system to create the PR in this date not today with date 01.02.2011 (this date is set by the system according to the delivery time in MM data)

We are using MRP type "VB: Manual reorder point planning" for some construction materials we have physically located in the warehouse and we are consuming in the project.
We want to know which MRP type we should use for some materials we have included in the network activities as "L" item category to be sure these material are planned to be used in the future (using the activity related offset). In this case we want the system automatically create the purchase requisition only when the requirement date is reached.
