Reply from LCC352 on Sep 23 at 5:38 PM Hi. Mitch. Document date is a field that can be almost anything you want. It's not necessarily tied to either posting or value date. The fact that it was processed on 9/22 s probably why the system chose that date. Had it been processed on 9/19, the doc date would have been that.

Hello Gurus,
Need your help.
We are having issues on the behavior that we are having for the Posting Key documents related to the Bank statement line items.
The transaction is included in the batch with Statement date of 09/19/2014- it has value date of 09/19/2014 and posting date of 09/19/2014.
electronic statement was uploaded 09/20/2014- user did process it on 9/22/2014. the output of the sub processing has a posting date of 09/19/2014 and document date of 09/22/2014.
Need to know what is the basis of the document date for the Posting document? and where are we suppose to change the configuration for the document date.
