Reply from Ben Meijs Ctac on Aug 19 at 5:15 AM This statement is needed when you are using Logical Databases, because you need a statement to indicate the end of the related GET statement. If you want to know more about them, check the GET and STOP statements. (but then again, if I were you I would not really bother if you don't need or use logical databases?.) Met vriendelijke groeten / kind regards, Ben Meijs

End-of-Selection is just an Event-Keyword. You'll find more in the documentation (within SE38 put the cursor on the keyword and press F1): Effect The statement END-OF-SELECTION is only intended for use in executable programs that are associated with a logical database. The statement defines an event block whose event is triggered as follows by the ABAP runtime environment during the process flow of the executable program: If the executable program is associated with a logical database, END-OF-SELECTION is triggered (if the logical database has fully completed its work). In an executable program without a logical database, END-OF-SELECTION is triggered directly after START-OF-SELECTION. Notes In this event block, all data read by the logical database can be processed in summary form. In an executable program without a logical database, there is no need to implement the event block END-OF-SELECTION. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
