Reply from phanimsd on Aug 24 at 2:42 PM we need to agree with Mr hovering_yogi and his point here. Why you need 5 Schedule lines for the purpose of picking slip that to- at Sales order level. The purpose of creation of 5 schedule can create 5 Different deliveries based on confirmed date. Can you please brief us what was the reason that your client asking for 5 different schedule lines with more details. Phanikumar

It is not until the later logistic processes take place that you need to worry about how much you can fit on a pallet, in a truck, in a container, etc. The detailed transport is not often known at sales order entry anyway so it's best to leave flexibility until later and leave logistics planners to do the split of the quantities appropriately (aided by the system as appropriate at that point in time) Don't try and replicate the functionality of the WM Picking, and transportation shipping processes within the sales order schedule line results. ATP is complicated enough without trying to unnecessarily generate schedule lines that have no real benefit. I've seen people before try and generate their own results and it always ends messily. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
