Here is the requirement Customers send us their on hand inventory data information on a daily basis (idocs). We need to process the idocs and store the customer inventory in SAP R/3 . While running MRP in our system the customer inventory also has to be taken into account in addition to our company's inventory . How do i set up this scenario in SAP ? I went through a lot of forum topics and SAP help documentation and understood that i need to use a combination of VMI and customer consignment . My main doubt in customer consignment process in the consignment fillup step we transfer stock from our location to customer location - but i need to do the reverse - that is i need to receive an idoc with stock data from customer and save it in customer location - can you please give me the steps (config / setup steps ) .
