Reply from phanimsd on Jun 23 at 10:57 AM This can be handled in two ways. 1.Create a Quantity contract followed by release order immediately--so your transaction specific requirements can be updated through your schedule lines. 2.In your scheduling agreement--what was the schedule lines observed--have you activated Requirements/Assembly in VOV6.. I have customers who at the beginning of the season sign a basic contract based on material and total qty. They then consume qty's off that contract with detailed orders including specific ship to party and specific qty's for that order. I am not using the contract function in SAP because the customer customer is not visible in the MRP (in MD04), and this is crucial for deciding on production when capacity is an issue.
