Hi Arun, You can check external number range activated in your configuration for client 802 using transaction MMNR or Img -> Logistic General -> material master -> basic setting -> material types -> define number range for each material types. External number range can not activated in client 802, then activate the same and move to other client also. Vel

If we are trying to give external no, system is showing above error message. I think the reason for this is, you have to import your document type configuration from 801 to 802 client through transaction SCC1 and then define number range in 802 client through transaction MMNR because number ranges are client independent. In OMS2 t code "External no.assignment w/o check " field is unchecked in all servers for all material types. you should have "External no.assignment w/o check " field checked in for material types ZSEM becuase you would like to use external number assignment and you also need to make sure in MMNR transaction you have also checked External number check box.
