Reply from sop57 on May 6 at 11:14 AM Hi, The status of the I-doc shows what has happened to it if your EDI sub-system is configured correctly. The translator feeds back its progress to SAP and eventually the status will be 06 or 08 (these 2 can be in either order). A typical outgoing message has the following stages :- 01 I-doc generated 20 I-doc ready for dispatch (note in some systems status 20 is for a different reason) 03 Data passed to port (I-doc sent to EDI system) 18 Triggering EDI system OK 24 Control information of EDI subsystem OK 06 Syntax check OK 08 Translation OK Then there can be further statuses depending on your EDI subsystem which log the dispatch of the message to the mailbox, but mine did not do this - look in the sub-system for messages sen / pending / failed. Incoming I-docs go through the statuses :- 50 - 64 - 62 - 51(if there is an error) - 53 (document posted). Regards, SOP57

Where can I start and how? Also suppose I create a PO and now I want to check how it is being processed like when the first EDI signal 850 is send and how can I view it in system that it has been sent and similarly for other signals such as 855, 860, 865, 824, 856, 810 etc. How can I view their status in system? Please help. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community. Start today. _.____.__ |
