I assume that might be true for the admin tasks, not for the CCDB related extraction.
In any case, you might want to tackle the root cause in deactivating the configuration in technical administration, assuming that you configured workflow items to be created/sent which now no one is interested any longer. Reconfiguring the application might be a better path forward compared to the job deletion, as the latter are controlled by the EFWK framework.
