Reply from Pete on Feb 25 at 9:43 AM Getting a job in ABAP is pretty much like any programming job but with a few special requirements. ABAP'ers need to understand not just how ABAP works but also learn the specifics of how the NetWeaver platform works. An employer would not only want to see ABAP coding skills but also see that you have a good understanding of how SAP platforms work. So when looking into learning ABAP, don't just focus on the language itself. Look into the NetWeaver platform and all the different kinds of technologies it uses. As a start, download a copy of the SAP NetWeaver developer system which is free, installing it on your machine and then go through some self-paced training to get a feel for it. There is a free tutorial here showing how to install it https://academy.saptraininghq.com/course/installsa ptrial/ Pete
