(yes you could use the existing column but good practice says you shouldn't

I don't actually have a system available to check this is all populated
correctly (FI implementation so no delivery but can see the source) but I
think it will be as COMMUNICATION_AREA_KOMKBV2 passes the table in even
though it's optional.
Hopefully it will be enough to go on anyway

Delivery output determination question regarding KOMPBV2 - we are on ECC 6.
I need to suppress output of the delivery if the delivery line item has an item category of a particular value (ZTAS).
I already have a requirement for this output type (ZUD3) that checks a header value from communication structure KOMKBV2 and it works correctly.
My need is to check field KOMPBV2-PSTYV (Item Category) to determine if output suppression should take place.
at the time the requirement for the line item is executed (KOBEV_), the communication structure KOMPBV2 is empty. at this point also, the delivery has not been created so i cannot check LIPS. I cannot find any table (at time of requirement execution) that contains the Sales Order number -- if i had that, i could check the Sales Order Item Item Category.
i have read everything that i could find from SAP Notes and forums on the internet, but there doesn't seem to be anybody with my problem. |
