Reply from Vinny_1066 on Jan 3 at 4:57 AM On preventive maintenance task lists we attach documents as PRTs and have developed a customised print transaction. When you batch print shops papers there is an option to select external documents. If this is selected the documents attached as PRTs are automatically printed with the shop paper.

We have certain standard operating procedure documents that we wish to attach to a preventive maintenance strategy/plan, and have that document cascade to the work order, rather than having to attach that document to generated work order. I'd like to leverage DMS. Is anything like this possible? The closest solution I found is using PRT/tasks, and this is pretty clunky and involves too much navigation to access the document. A DMS document on the work order is far easier to call up.

p.s. I don't know anything about 'MPD Workbench'. Can this be helpful in any way? |
