Thanks for your suggestions towards this issue, but unfortunately I am not
able to get 4 hrs displayed in the work schedule ie 8:00 - 12:00. I have
configured Half day working in the Holiday Calendar & given 3 in Holiday
class, created a variant & inserted this letter in the work schedules, as
somebody suggested me to go for counting rules i have done it also giving
50%. Everything is appearing but only 08:00 - 12:00 is not appearing. Can
you please suggest me suitably, I may be missing something.
I am looking forward to your kind suggestions.

we have two scenarios
1. You can go with Holiday class 2(half day holiday) before all public
holidays
2. You have to write a PCR on the above
But writing of the pcr is correct method.
