Reply from Ken on Dec 5 at 12:35 PM We actually use a slightly modified version of U000 and that has been in place since go-live several years ago. I will compare it to to U001 and can probably use U001 as a guide to see what I can and cannot comment out. Otherwise, I can use U001 and simply add in the customization that was initially done to U000. Thanks very much and thanks for responding so quickly.

Subject: Stop Using BSI TaxFactory for US Payroll
We are running ECC 6 and just loaded the latest HR Support Packs. These make BSI version 8 obsolete and force us to do a full installation of BSI TaxFactory for SAP US Payroll. We typically run the US payroll then use PU12 to extract the data and send it to ADP. ADP does our gross-to-net, tax filing, payment of checks and all the rest. Therefore, to avoid the issues with the new BSI TaxFactory, I would like to stop all tax processing in the US payroll schema. I have some of Satish Badgi's pay textbooks and he indicates that it is easy to do but does not say how. Can anyone help me with this? Can I simply comment out all processing in the tax schema UTX0? Is there a setting somewhere in config (SPRO) to stop all tax processing? I need a solution as soon as possible. Thanks for any help, suggestions, or directions. |
