The value of C tells the system to cumulate the values from all existing valid records of the quota specified. That is, if the employee has more than one active quota record (based on validity period), the system will total the values of the remaining quota. For example, the employee has the following records:
Start End Quota Type Remaining Quota
1/1/2012 12/13/2013 10 12
1/1/2013 12/31/2013 10 26
In this example, the amount of remaining quota would be 38 when using HRS=FR10C. If you had used HRS=FR10F in this example, you would get the first record only, resulting in an answer of 12 remaining quota hours. HRS=FR10L would read the last record, yielding 26 remaining hours.
If you do not have multiple records of the same quota type based on the validity period, then the distinction between the options is not relevant. |
