Subject: Advice On Selecting SAP Database

Thanks for the reply Paul, well let's say that since we began with database analysis, MaxDB was not an option, mainly due to we didn't hear a lot of it from our local SAP partners, in fact they say that Sybase is the SAP preferred database, and it was little or no mention about maxDB.

So regarding to support, what you are saying is that we will recur to SAP support when something goes wrong or need something very specialized (such as platform migration), and that we shall be in charge of performing the rest of the daily/operative tasks, right?

What is the level of support do you have with SAP and what are your experiences with it?

Regards,
Luis Fernando.
