Reply from MASchumacher on Jan 17 at 8:10 AM Sorry I thought you just missed it in the code. I think the recno is just a unique Identifier you assign to group the info together. Drill into the help on the BAPI specifically the Parameters "INPUTDATA" and it shows an example of 4 data fields and the Record_ID is the same on all 4 so that's how it knows they belong together. The values of the characteristics are what determine the Segment number being used for the actual records (if I remember correctly). Hope this helps.
