Reply from MASAHIKO KOHSO on Nov 15 at 5:55 AM I think you need to maintain KES1 Characteristic Values, as you see the access in the error popup.
You will see a tree of characteristic values you have in your system. Double click on 'WWREG Region of sales order', then you have maintenance table/screen (view).
The tables are like T2500, T25xx. You see it in KEA5, double click on each value fields. If the Validation is 'Check table', you see table names below, such as

We use COPA. Until now we were only billing Canadian customers from the SD module. Going forward we will be billling US customers from the SD module also.
I am testing the posting of the SD billing for US invoices and am getting the following COPA error: Characteristic value US 000 does not exist for characteristic WWREG (Region order)
What I have done to fix it but is not working, as it continues to give me the above error (so I must be missing something)
Went to t-code KEA5, chose my operating concern, find the characteristic WWREG, double-click to see what it says under "Validation" for "check table".
Then look at that table using SE16 (T005S). It has values:

Country - US
Region - MN
Prov.tax code - 000
State of Manufac - Blank
Description - Minnesota
In the customer master > Address tab I have it defined as:
Country - US
Region - MN
Time zond CST
Jurisdiction code - MN0000000
In t-code KEDR
Step Type - Move
Step Description - Region from Jurisdiction code
Source field CO-PA TXJCD +2(2) Tax Jurisdiction
Target field CO-PA WWREG Region of sale order
What am I missing? Please help.
