Please do the following and let me know the result:
1) Check if Document splitting is active for the affected CoCd.
Path: SPRO>Financial Accounting (New)>General Ledger Accounting (New)
>Business Transactions>Document Splitting>Activate Document Splitting
2) Identify Which item category is assigned for the bank GL
Path: SPRO>Financial Accounting (New)>General Ledger Accounting (New)
>Business Transactions>Document Splitting>Classify GL Accounts for Document Splitting
e.g. your bank account 007007 is assigned with item category 04000
3) Identify which transaction and variant is assigned for the document type
Path: SPRO>Financial Accounting (New)>General Ledger Accounting (New)
>Business Transactions>Document Splitting>Classify Document types for Document Splitting
e.g. document type SA is assigned with transaction 0000 and variant 0001
4) Ensure the item category 04000 is enabled as "required"
Path: SPRO>Financial Accounting (New)>General Ledger Accounting (New)
>Business Transactions>Document Splitting>Extended Document Splitting>Define Business Transaction Variant
Select business transaction 0000 and double click on accounting transaction variant
select variant 0001 and double click on assigned item categories
here you ensure required tick mark is checked for the item category 04000.
The logic here is the variant 0001 is used by other document types also,
therefore you create a variant as Z001 and enable the required option for the item category
With this system will trigger error message GLT2201, if profit center not found in any of the line item of the document. If system able to find a profit center in any of the line item
then it will be inherited.
