Reply from Nikki Klein on Oct 2 at 1:44 PM Hi Jeff, SPRO > Financial Accounting > AR and AP > Vendor Accounts > Master Data > Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Data > Define Screen Layout per Activity (Vendors). Choose the Display Vendor (Accounting) line and go to the Details. Choose the General Data section and then click on Edit Field Status. Double click on the Control section. Make the Tax ID fields Suppressed. Nikki

As this field is general data in the vendor master, all people globally in our organization with access to the vendor master can view it. This is a concern because of the sensitivity of social security numbers. Is there a standard solution to protect this confidential info? Should a different field be used? | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
