Question from R. N. Wilhite on Sep 28 at 4:03 PM You guys are going to so love this one. I have a process, a Z report, that runs in the background regularly. At the end it mails it's spool file to a distribution list. The report is a is a flat file interface reader. It reads from the App Server and writes to the DB using several BAPI's and 1 direct write to a Z table. On rare occasions, the spool file disappears. The users are of course objecting as they didn't receive their warning mail. These occasions coincide with bad data in the input file. The bad data causes a record for the BAPI's to reject. In the foreground, however, everything runs perfect... This really had me buffaloed for a while. I however have just added two lines and have fixed it. I know that some of you are going to guess what did. I'll let you know on Monday and the assumption that left me hoping it might work. Then you can laugh at me if you want (for the assumption that solved it). Neal | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
