This can be done on SE54 - table maintenance event. Use event 5, Enter the subroutine containing the custom logic in the "FORM routine" column. Click the editor button in the rightmost column to enter the custom logic. You will be prompted intermittently to save your customizations to a transport.

Hi,
I have a problem with one of my developments. I only know a few how to add events in table maintenance (event 5) on how to auto-populate other fields like the description of a material after the user presses "ENTER".
But we need the materials to be auto-populated after I've clicked the "New Entry" button (getting these values from a certain custom table). So that the user will not need to enter these materials manually anymore.
Is that possible?
I have been tinkering with the codes but I only know how to get the material description after pressing ENTER which means the materials are still manually entered.
Kindly help.
