The asset value date has to be in the open fiscal year and, hence, you
cannot do a partial transfer with the value date in a prior year.

Could you please confirm for me if there is a way we can do a partial asset transfer with an effective transfer date of prior fiscal year? If we have to do it for a prior fiscal year transfer date, we will need to have the depreciation caught up …..this will have to work as a post-cap. I don't think I have ever done this and not sure if this is possible.
