The only way to close out your POs is to clear GR/IR balance. Since these POs were old, the workaround solution is to run MR11 to clear it.

I just want to ask how to close a PO without using MIRO. When we PO a service, we use 100% as the quantity and unit of measure. The supplier bills us by %, depending on their delivery (progress billing). We use MIGO to receive the delivery. But we use an ABAP program to process the payment (invoicing) because there is a downpayment and retention and we need to recoup the these. The item/service now has the risk of being invoiced again using MIRO. May we know if there is a way how to close the PO without being invoiced using MIRO? We tried ticking the final invoice but it was still invoiced.
