actually i'm just thinking that the last step in number range change is to return back the last number that was present in the "current status" before i did the changes. So as you said there's no need to return the last doc. number. i will just leave the status to 0.

Firstly may i know what is the necessity for you to change the current
status of the number range?
And when you changed the number range interval itself as From: 60000000 To:
699999999 how can you expect the system to accept the status 699999 which
is less than the Least side i.e., 60000000. The numbers from that number
range will start with 60000000 and goes on like 60000001, 60000002... and
so on.. so give the status as either ZERO or some status between the number
range.
