Hi,

That's my point view too. Cannot say better.

After running stats or analyzing ST05, usually adding an index may solve the
issue.

This seems to be a basis question, so, posting in the basis group is a good idea.

If you want to improve performance, then as MB1A and MB21 are standard Tcodes, you may want to check OSS notes. I'm sure there are lots of notes you could apply.

On the basis side: I'd ask my basis team to run update statistics on the whole dbase.

I'd also run those tcodes with st05 turned on so I can check which table or tables are spending more time and perhaps why they are doing so.
