Yes, it is for external procurement. We are sourcing packaging items from out side and the lead time differs for fresh items and old items. For the new items (fresh order) the lead item is 4 weeks and (i week for the vendor as it is new item) and 3 weeks lead time during the next procurement.

In our scenario we are souring packing from suppliers. The lead time for the packaging is differs ,i.e., if it is new item the lead time is 4 weeks and for the old one the lead time is 3 weeks. For the new items we can update the lead time as 4 weeks once the item is received can system change it the lead time to 3 weeks automatically? Can SAP do it?
Please advise.
