Since the planned delivery time was defined at either contract / purchasing info record or material master level, the workaround solution in this particular case, is to maintain 4 wks in the material master and 3 wks in the contract / purchasing info record (as you have already purchased from the vendor).

Hi all,
In our scenario we are souring packing from suppliers. The lead time for the packaging is differs ,i.e., if it is new item the lead time is 4 weeks and for the old one the lead time is 3 weeks. For the new items we can update the lead time as 4 weeks once the item is received can system change it the lead time to 3 weeks automatically? Can SAP do it?
Please advise.
