fields can be changed via creating a substitution rule, but
you can create one via OA02. Then create a worklist (AR31?) selecting only
the assets you want to change and run it through the substitution
rule. Hope this helps.

If you want to replace the description, model number and cost center etc. in the asset master, is it possible to change these in a mass upload or mass change mode?
The cost center needs changing to a new cost center but each asset number will have a different cost center for example
asset ID 1 = cc 10000
asset ID 2 = cc 10200
asset ID 3 = cc 10000
asset ID 4 = cc 10300
asset ID 5 = cc 10200 etc...
