When you are sure to Settle AUC to FA,
1. Create FA Number (if you used different Category & Number between AUC & FA)
2. You can use t-code AIAB
A. Fill in AUC Asset Number and Company Code
B. Choose column that you want to distribute AUC to FA
C. Enter (Header), fill the Rule (Category/Cat, Settle Receiver (FA ID), percentage (100%)
C. Back & Save.
3. Use t-code AIBU
A. Fill in Company Code, AUC Asset No., Settle Date, Period, Text (if you need).
B. Click Test Run for sure, if you sure enough then Back & unclick Test Run
C. Click Execute, then Save.

I hope that's enough for you.

Yes, you can. You transfer cost from Internal Order to AUC as a Month end process. The first transfer the AUC is created automatically, no need to create a Settlement rule(Depending on the set up). When your project is completed or when you are sure that costs will no longer be coming or when it is a direct purchase of Assets, then you create your asset Master Data and you get your Asset number then, you use the Asset number to create your Settlement Rule to settle to the Actual Asset.
