This will easily be done thru Enhancement of Infotypes.
To add required fields in the infotype 0023, follow the below procedure;
Go to Transaction Code PM01
Cleick on "Single Scrn" Tab
Enter Infotype 0023 & Version(country CODE).
Selecte Radio Button "Customer Include"
Click on "Generate Objects"
Click "Create" - upon popup displyed
Create your Customizing fields & activate in components tab with all credentials, i.e char, length etc.
Save
Verify / check the fields added in the CI include
Go to SE11 and check table PA0023
Back to PM01,
Select Tab "Single Scrn".
Select the radio button "Include Screen" with screen no (0200).
Click on "Edit"
It takes you to directly SE38 (default module pool program generated automatically)
Select Radio Button "Layout Editor"
Click on "Change"
In this step (Screen Painter). you can adjust / Align the fields to your requirements. Activate the screen.
Back to PM01 in fill all the old values
(0023)
(40)
Click on "Assign Enhancement".
Upon seeing the "New Entries "button. Click on it.
Enter Prog Name ZPxx23xx
Enter Std Screen 0200
Click on "SAVE"
Done!

Can we add a field "Function" adjacent to Job in previous employment
screen in PB10. Currently we are only entering the job in previous
employment screen & we are not able to capture the function in PB10.
