Reply from DevarajSekar on Apr 24 at 12:42 AM The same can be run in the period 2012 04 and post accordingly. Normally once you exit the previous payroll and started the next payroll, you cannot run and post the previous record instead run in current period and post it. There wont be any problem.
Hope others accept my views.

We have a problem during settlement of TRIP in transaction PR05.
In PR05, we need to settle the trip in period 4 2012. However, we encounter an error:
Payroll will run again as correction run. Acctg
period 2012 04 must be same as PA03 period 2012
03!
When looking at transaction PA03, the details are as follow:
Payroll Area - 5G
Payroll Status - Released for correction
Payroll Period - 03 2012 (01.03.2012-31.03.2012)
Run - 3
Earliest retro acctg. period - 01 2011 (01.01.2011)
How can we post the trip in period 4 and how to update the payroll period in PA03?
