Solution: Enter only the material types for semi finished and finished goods during the costing run. This will exclude raw materials from beinig given a std cost. The raw materials will be included in the cost rollup for the semi finished and finished products.

At our client site,all the Raw materials are with moving average price and Semi-Finished and Finished goods are with Standard price.we would like to do standard cost estimate for only Semi-Finished and Finished goods.but whenever i do standard cost estimate,it is costing raw materials also.is this standard process?if i do not want to cost raw material, what is the process?any help is appreciated.
