The hourly rate needs to be multiplied by the no.of hrs for the pay period to be paid as salary. This would happen in one of the two ways below in the payroll schema/subschema: a)In subschema XT00: The no.of hrs to be paid should come in a time wage type from DAYPR which executes the time eval schema and imported into payroll through function ZLIT. Then the time w/t's are valuated in the pcr X015 based on the val.basis of the w/t. b)Subschema XAL0: The basic pay w/t's no.of hrs may be calculated and reduced by the absence hrs in pcr XPPF and its subrules. Then valuated in pcr XVAL based on the w/t's proc cl 10. 2. The w/t's are first put into the table IT. Then each function processes the w/t's through the work table OT which again is put back into IT. The w/t's from IT are written to RT and cumullated into CRT based on the w/t's value (in V_512W_D) for (i)proc cl 03 in subschema XT00/pcr X020 (ii)proc cl 20 in subschema XAL0/pcr X023 (iii)proc cl 04 in subschema XAL0/pcr X025 (iv)proc cl 41 in subschema XNET/pcr X024 (v)proc cl 05 in subschema XNA0/pcr X030 Applicable for Australian payroll: -proc cl 82 in pcr QCSU -proc cl 05 in pcr Q030. B.Run payroll with log and see where and how the relevant w/t gets the no.of hrs and the amt. It may be worthwhile to refresh with the Payroll course material.
