Thanks Neal

I have seen quite a few mentions of 'forms' & 'windows', but so far can only find standard SAP ones ( ie.e their names do not begin with 'Z' ) & none of those contain any field names. I am still searching, but am I correct to simply double click on every mention of 'form' & search the code within the forms for mentions of 'window', until I find the particular window I need, that mentions field names ?

By the way...when you talk about FM, is this 'Forms Manager' ?

Would be great to have local support from a developer, but its not available to me, so its trial & error !

Cheers
Mike

Subject: SAPscript form Design

I am specifying an output form change from pure SAPscript to Smartforms. Is there a simple way ( other than browsing dozens of lines of code ) that I can see which fields are used when the form is printed. I've been through the program & there are lots of function calls & uses of 'forms' but none that I can find so far specify the field names & where they appear on the page.

Is it possible to view a preview of the form with field names also shown ?

Cheers
