Note 1479678 - FBCJ: Posting down payments in the cash journal " is clearly mentioned that it is not possible to post down payments in the cash journal except for Russia and Turkey. so it is not possible to do with normal procedure and if you want you can try with substitution. But you have to work for it whether it is possible or not

Note 1479578 "says":
"Down payments are not possible in company codes in which the extended
