Hi JG,
In reference to the suggestion given
=====
pcr ZSTR - Store w/t ABCD
D WGRTP? If current w/t is DEFG
*
**
***
****
DEFG ADDWT&ABCD Store current w/t details in var ABCD
=======

Can you explain the above in detail , say if I want the WT 9000 to be stored into the ABCD, ie the wagetype number should be stored to ABCD. (result as ABCD = 9000) . Also when the second wage type in the input table is processed, I need to introduce a check saying if , current wagetype = previous wagetype . How can I attain this? Please give me some suggestions.

Regards,

Subject: How to store wagetype to a variable

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement where in I need to do some processing based on a previously processed wagetype... How can I store a wagetype number to a temp variable to be used later in the same PCR or another...Is it possible?? say the value in WGTYP variable to stored to a temp variable ABCD?

I am pretty new to PCR , so I might be asking something very silly...

Thanks,
