Dear Nitin,
When you Try to run the depreciation in AFAB, you do a Test Run and do a
Real run
Test run posts dummy accounts, from which you can make whether the Dep has
run with or without errors and then
come back to the same screen remove test run and do a real run.
Please check the Error log if the dep has got posted or not for that
period, If you are doing Repeat run, you can set the fields T093D-AFBLPE
(last period) and T093D-AFBLGJ (last fisal year) in debugging. Field
T093D-AFBANZ (number of posting runs) must also be set to the same value as
in the areas already posted.

When I am trying to run the dep. for a particular machine system is giving us the following error.
"Only period 000 can be posted in the repeat run
Message no. AAPO516
Diagnosis
You want to carry out a repeat depreciation posting run in period 001. However, the last posting run was for period 000.
System Response
The repeat run cannot be carried out. Processing is cancelled.
Procedure
Start the repeat run again using period 000."
I have tried to run it using the period 000 which is senseless as per me but still system is giving me the error
"There are no areas to post to in company code XXXX
Message no. AA690

There are no areas to post to in company code XXXX
Procedure
Using the Customizing functions, check whether the areas to be posted have been given a posting cycle in the company code specified.
Please tell me how to post the depreciation in this case as it has been missed out.
