Hi Like Outsourcing, SAAS platform usage needs to be evaluated. When a company has the capability currently for providing Implementation/Support, it would need to shed employees or find alternatives for them. If at a later time, it wants to bring back the in-house capability, it will need to start all over. This type of need has happened in the case of some companies reversing the outsourcing decision. Every action has its advantages & disadvantages. It involves certain gains as well as cost. Detailed analysis of all aspects - human, social, cultural and financial - need to be made and then decided. Where necessary, you may need an external orgn or person to do this. Regards, JG

Is it worth shifting an in house SAP HR + EP System as an On Demand service (SAAS)? Please give positive and negative aspects of considering a SAAS model for our established SAP Time, Payroll and Self Services in our mid sized organization. We are at a decision point to consider on demand SAP services instead of upgrading the system to ECC5.0. | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
