Hi,

Glad to hear that you problem is solved. I would just like to say that you should not open port 23 for access from the internet. This is a serious security issue.

Port 23 should only be open between the SAProuter server and your SAP backend servers. In addition port 23 must be maintained in the saprouttab file.

SAP Support will only connect through port 3299.

Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions. SAP is now able to telnet our <public ip address> on port 3299.

We did open port 3299 and 23 on our hardware router through port forwarding.
