Sir you are right. I am getting the error "item category not defined in
200000/Co Code" when I am trying to post the document so I have parked the
document 200000 is the GL

Looks like you are using the New General Ledger. Could you please furnish
the actual error message you are getting at the bottom of the screen during
posting ? ( Such errors are triggered only during posting a document in full
and not during parking since parking of incomplete documents is possible and
posting insists that a document must be complete ).
Are you getting a message indicating the the profit center is not filled in
one or more of the line items? If so, then you need to ensure that all the
General Ledger accounts appearing in the line items of the document are
configured appropriately as item categories and a splitting rule defined (
am assuming that all other configuration for New G L has been completed
correctly ).
