Hi All,

I have few doubts concerning dual stack System Copy :

1> For a dual stack system copy which is the correct method ?
a> restore/recoveryof source system db in target system
b> or by doing export/import using sapinst
whats the difference between these two?

2> when we use sapinst, we get following options inbetween:
a> Standard system copy/Migration(Load Based)
b> Homogeneous System copy(Backup/Restore)
whats the difference between two?

3> Also, inbetween defining parameters, we get this option for parameter "JAVA system copy" :
Target System will replace source system
What does that mean?

4> Whats the difference between DB server and DB client? how these two are different from eachother?

5> If its a single stack system(either ABAP or JAVA), then can we use simple database restore/recovery method?
or in which case we can use this method?

Kindly help me understanding these things......

Thanks
