Hi SAP gurus,
I need your help on this:
While on a test mode of performing an AFAB for period 1 of FY 2011 under company XYZ, I encountered this problem:
You can only post in new year after closing the previous year.
Message no. AA687
Diagnosis
You want to post in a new fiscal year. However, a posting must have been made in the last period in the previous fiscal year before you can do this.
Procedure
Post to the last period in the previous year first.
I follow with the procedure above that is to post the last period which period 12 of FY 2010 despite the fact that there is no purchases of asset in the previous year. The purchases of asset started on the period 2 of FY 2011' and I got this message:
No data was found that agrees with the selection made
Message no. AU101
Diagnosis
There is no data record which meets the selection conditions specified.
Procedure
Check your input
Here comes another company ABC with the same scenario with company XYZ wherein no purchases of asset from previous year and it start only on the period 2 of FY 21011 also. I run the AFAB at period 1 of FY2011 and i did not got an error message just like with company XYZ got.
I think that there is something wrong with the configuration of company XYZ but I can't figure it out where is it...
Can you help me please to solve this problem...thank you...I'm looking forward for your answers.
