Hi

T001P is initial part of the config. After that you do not need to create entries every time you need a new position or hiring.

Check whey you need a new pers area/sub area.
If a new pers area or sub area is needed, this requires a number of config steps, starting from org structure, time mgt, etc, This is not a simple change.

Default position in T77S0 is only to assign a default position when you do not enter a position in the hiring action in IT 0 or 1, when you press enter after entering other data like payroll area, pers.area/subarea. This does not give an error message.

The position needs to be available on the assignment date (or IT 1 start date).

When you create a position, (or when you go to any PD trxn) the default start date is current system date. Often this needs change when you maintain or display a PD object. Check if that start date for the position is correct.

Hope this helps.
Regards, JG

Subject: Error message i.e no entry in T001P for personnel area

Sir,

When I was executing the Action info type (0000) in PA40 it is not executed and I showed a error message i.e no entry in T001P for Personnel Area.

I created a position and Personnel Area, Personnel Sub Area, Employee Group and Employee subgroup for running the hiring action

How can I rectify this ticket for execute the Action info type in (p00000) in PA40?
