If you run Power 7 then you will use later OS and DBMS.the problem is the SAP software (ECC6.0) is not support.
Do you think of that?

Subject: SAP Hardware Landscape
Hi all.
Currently I have 3 * Power 5 Servers , One for Dev one for QAS and one for PRD.
Running AIX, Maxdb and Ecc 6.0 on each of them. Pretty straight forward all with local storage and DB`s on local storage.
We have a hardware upgrade project coming up. Just wanted to find out some of the industry norm hardware landscapes that you guys have.
We are thinking of going to Power 7, how many of you are running Power VM and what do your landscapes look like.
