Hi, just want to ask about my DP brarchive command. Previously im using -c, then -cd, then -cds. I don't know why all above command I used, system will delete my archive log after backup. It give me major problem when something happen in oracle. Some tape been recycled and give me headache when recovery need to be done. Then I found -scd -c which to deleted the archive log after second copy to tape. But they still deleted on first time copy in SOL & SEP, in BWP and PRD server, the archive log didn't copy to tape, system only backup datafile. Can someone explain to me which success BR command should I use to perform 'Delete On Second Copy'. I also need BR command for 'Copy only, Don't Delete". Thanks. Nik

If I then run the logship command, I am missing a few logs. How can I set the jobs up so that the only logs deleted are the ones that have already been shipped? Very grateful for any assistance you can offer. Matt | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
