Hi I am afraid that checks are legal documents ( negotiable instruments, as they call it usually). Therefore, torn , mutilated and spoilt checks have to be recorded in the system so in order to ensure that the check numbers are not abused. You have to void such checks in the system. You do not reprint the torn checks with the same numbers. Though you have a provision in SAP to reprint checks with 'restart numbering', it is never a good and safe idea to do so. You are safer when you void torn checks (and the related check numbers) and reprint them with fresh numbers . Regards VidhyaDhar

Now the client wants to reprint the checks using the same APP. Is this possible? Or do we have to void those checks that are spoiled or torn? anyone could help me please in this regard. Thanks, sadaiah | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N. Scottsdale Road Suite 280, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 | | VidhyaDhar SAP Accounting Top Contributor
