Hi APW, May I suggest following? - Before designing a change, check with the business client if the following validation is the business requirement. - In user exit LXPADU01 or 02, include ABAP code to process the infotype. If the type of cover is medical, if the employee is not new and if the employee is not being terminated, if the benefit is already existing and change is not from the beginning of month, then change date to start of month and output a warning message. This requires only a small amount of coding. Also, suggest testing with a comprehensive set of scenarios for all the conditions being validated/checked in your code - e.g. - different benefit types - different start dates - for a new and existing benefit - new/existing/terminating empl You may also suggest to the UAT person such scenarios in addition to what they use as per their business aspects. Hope this helps. Regards, JG

Instead it is delimiting the day we make the change. I looked in the IMG and do not see when this can be configured for dependent but only for the EE. Can anyone please offer a suggestion?
