G'day Mark, Not sure if you figured this out, but I have been going around in circles trying to get this "&REFRESH" button visible with CL_SALV_TABLE. The way I got it to become visible, was to just remove the "&" from in front of the Function code, so that it now looks like "REFRESH" instead of "&REFRESH". Doing this enabled and made visible this function on the PFStatus. NOTE: Remove the "&" from the Function code in the 'Freely Assigned Function Keys" area at the bottom of the STATUS Screen editor. If you try and make your change in the "Application toolbar" it thinks you are creating a "new" function thus asks all the question even which icon to use. Hope this makes sense. Cheers, Mick.

I don't need replies that work for CL_GUI_ALV_GRID, or the REUSE_ALV function modules. This is a frustrated question, there's an easy workaround, but it bugs me that I couldn't beat it. I've been using class CL_SALV_TABLE for the last few days, I thought I'd better come to grips with it. I want to include a refresh-button, but I'd like to enable the standard one from function group SALV_METADATA_STATUS. If I can get this working, it will be simpler in future. I'm not asking about how to code a refresh, soft refresh, stable refresh. I'm not asking how to register events. I'm just wondering if anyone has managed to make the default &REFRESH button visible. Thanks in advance, and major brownie points if you get me a working answer. Mark Scotland | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
