Hi,
Yes, having 400 requests can impair performance. Do you really need that many transports in the queue?
When transporting, check TP logs, do a trace with ST05, check with STAD.

Subject: STMS taking huge time to start import/refresh.
Hello experts,
We are facing extreme slowness of import queue in our production environment. Even refreshing queue is taking more than 5 minute. Some times the screen remains in-responsive. When we start importing a request,it is taking much time to start the process of importing.
What my questions are:-
1)we have more than 4000 requests in our PRD import queue buffer.does it effects the performance of TMS?
2)Is there any techniques or procedure,by which we can improve TMS performance?
